As you have read in all types of media, there has been a large recall of products across many categories & industries, following these recent developments, we have decided months ago as Alpha Foods to set up the necessary procedure to ensure the raw materials we are using in our products, to be EO-free as this is a contamination that has only recently become a problem in global supply chains. One of those lab tests unfortunately came back positive and residues of EO were detected. While none of our suppliers use EO at any part of growing plants and/or on their ingredients, cross-contamination is still possible during their transport, especially for ingredients that we cannot source directly in the European Union.   

We confirm that the recall only concerns this product and no other product of the Alpha Foods range. We are working closely with our supplier, government agencies & sales channels to ensure that the necessary steps are taken to ensure a smooth recall procedure.

We ask you to stop the consumption of this product and to dispose of it or to send it back.
